President Harper Fireside

The following info I received from Simi 2 ward, thought I'd pass it on. President Harper is an awesome speaker.

"Our Stake RS President has shared the following with us – Please make note of the upcoming Regional Adult Fireside August 23 @ 7:00pm. Tony Harper will be the speaker. In the past, these events have been advertised as "Singles firesides" but all adults are invited. They are no longer considered "singles firesides". Now they are stake or regional adult firesides. Please emphasize this with your wards. Wonderful firesides are missed by so many, because there is the mistaken idea that they are really just for the singles"

Baby Shower for Alicia Eskander

Tuesday 7/28 - 7:30 @ Kari Pulsiphers. Invite EVERYONE to PLEASE come...even if you have not met her. It will be really fun night getting to know everyone and some YUMMY treats. Hope to see you there!

Doger Game Info

There are a few more Dodger tickets left for the August 6 "Dodger Night"
against the Atlanta Braves. The tickets are $10.00 and the seats are
located in the left field Pavilion. The money has to be paid by this
Sunday by putting a check in a Tithing envelope marked "Other-Dodger
Game.

Relief Society Fireside

Sister Cheiko Okazaki, former counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency and author, will speak at a stake Relief Society fireside, BE OF GOOD CHEER, Saturday, July 25 at 6 pm in the Sinaloa building. All adults are invited and encouraged to bring non member friends.

This is such a wonderful opportunity, because her topic is one that applies to everyone. She will particularly address the difficulties of the current economic situation. It would be wonderful if we could reach out to all of our less active members as well as to our friends who are not members of the church. We will have flyers shortly.

XS Temple Dress
